Ex-super eagles captain Austin ‘Jay Jay ‘ Okocha has been handed a coaching role at Championship club Bolton Wanderers ahead of the start of next season.
English football agent John Harriot made this revelation through his twitter handle.
“The African Prince Jay-Jay Okocha is set to join the Bolton Wanderers backroom staff,” he said.
“Will be a great influence on the young players at the club,”

Harriot did not however state the specific role Okocha will play at the club.
Okocha was part of what can be termed the glory era of Bolton in the 20th century and was pivotal in lifting them from perennial relegation battlers to a mid table team during their stay in the English Premier League.
He ended up with the captain armband before his departure from the club but despite spending just four years at the club.
Bolton fans voted him as their best player ever in a poll conducted last year.
