Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, wants Lille forward, Victor Osimhen to join La Liga side Leganes so as to help them score goals.
The Nigerian striker has been in superb form scoring his ninth league goal for the club in their 1-0 win over Brest on Friday taking his goal tally to 11 goals in 21 appearances across all competition since joining the French side in the summer.
Osimhen’s 11 goals so far is more than the number of goals scored by Leganes this season. The Madrid side have scored just eight goals in 15 league games conceding 25 in the process.
Reacting to a post on Instagram by Osimhen after the win against Brest, Omeruo jokingly called on his compatriot to join his club so as to help them with goal-scoring duties.
“Come and help my team score goals,” he wrote.
Osimhen is one of Europe’s most talked-about player with tabloids linking him to top clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Tottenham.
