Rabiu Ali will return to action Sunday at NPFL leaders Plateau United after his 12-match ban was lifted and the Kano Pillars skipper has told fans the team will bounce back to top reckoning after a difficult start to the season.
The experienced midfielder was slammed a long-term ban after he confronted the referee during an NPFL Championship playoff game last season.
“Rabiu will be back in action for our matchday 6 clash at Plateau United,” announced Pillars in a statement signed by spokesman Idris Malikawa.
Four-time champions Pillars are second from bottom of the NPFL table with two points from four matches.
But Rabiu Ali has assured fans that Pillars will soon bounce back to top reckoning and they only have to remain calm and patient with the team.
