PDP governorship candidate casts vote in Sampson community

The Bayelsa State Peoples Democracy Party Governorship candidate, Senator Duoye Diri, who just cast his vote in his home town Sampon in Kolokuma/Opukoma Local government area of Bayelsa State, South South Nigeria expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election.

I can only speak of my ward, unit, local government area. The election is peaceful and orderly,” he said.

Senator Duoye Diri went further to call on various security agencies in the state to be professional in their duties.

“We are calling on the security agencies to be active in their duties, they should be professionals in their conducts so that the election will be transparent,” he stated.

According to an electorate Mrs. Preye Isibor, a native of Sampon also expressed satisfaction with the electoral process, “over here the election is peaceful and we have not encounter any issue so far,”she said.

Another Electorate Miss Juliet Kakatei said she was impressed with the process.

She adds that the whole process is orderly explaining that the INEC officers are attending to the old ones and women before the youths.
