Plateau State set for President Buhari’s historic visit

All is set for President Muhammadu Buhari’s working visit to Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria.

Jos, the State capital is already wearing a new look with the streets well decorated with bill boards and banners carrying the pictures of the President and that of his host, Governor Simon Lalong.

Jingles conveying messages of welcome and solidarity to the Buhari administration are also been aired on all radio and television stations.

During the one-day visit, President Buhari is expected to inaugurate a major road that serves as the gateway to the state, popularly called Mararraban Jama’a roundabout, which stretches into the state capital.

Other projects include the flyover bridge at state secretariat junction, as well the Miango Junction- Rantya-Wild Life Park road among others.

The Nigerian Leader will also pay a courtesy visit to the palace of the Gbong Gwom Jos and later in the day hold a town hall meeting with major stakeholders and also attend a State Banquet in his honour all at Government House Jos.
