Police DIG satisfied with conduct of election in Adamawa

The Deputy Inspector General of Police supervising Adamawa State by-election DIG Usman Tilli, has expressed satisfaction with the security arrangement put in place in the state for the supplementary elections in Uba/gaya, and bye election in Nasarawo/Binyere state Assembly.
DIG Tilli stated this when speaking to newsmen at Nasarawo/Binyere collation center in GDSS Nasarawo jereng mayobalwa local government area of Adamawa state.
 He commended the people of the state for maintaining peace while at polling units and urged them to continue maintaining peace even after the election.
Similarly, the Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Barrister Kasim Gaidam expressed satisfaction with the general conduct of the election in the state.
He said the election was smoothly conducted with no report of violence in all the places that the election took place.
Supplementary election was conducted at Uba/gaya consituency in Hong  local government area, as well as bye election at Nasarawo/jereng  consituency in mayobalwa local government area of the state.
