President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja after a successful outing at the 1st Russia-Africa summit.
His plane touched down at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja at about 18:00 GMT.
He was received by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello and senior security officers among others.
While in Sochi, Russia, the President was able to secure agreements with the Russian government on the completion of the long abandoned Ajaokuta Steel Company as well as gas exploration.
The Russian government also pledged to support Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.
He was accompanied on the visit by the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle and Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
