President Buhari returns to Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari is back to Abuja, after attending the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development held in Japan.

The President, who touched down at about 22:28 GMT, was received at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.

Also at the airport to receive the President was the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Mohammed Bello and the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adam.

The Nigerian leader had been away in Japan, since Sunday August 25.

While in Japan, he was able to woo more investors to Nigeria.

Nigeria also secured a 50 million euro memorandum of understanding with the European Union among others.
