Presidential Aspirant Atiku visits Benue State, seeks support

The former Vice President of Nigeria and a front line aspirant for the office of President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has visited Benue State.

Atiku Abubakar’s visit is to solicit for the support of statutory and ad hoc delegates for the October 6th People’s Democratic Party PDP Presidential Primaries

The former Vice President was received by the State Chairman of the PDP Sir John Ngbede and members of the working committee.

Atiku promised the people of Benue State total peace, provision of infrastructure and appointments into his administration if nominated and voted in.

Fielding questions from Journalists he said the issue of restructuring and true federalism is a total committed conviction he has and not a political gimmick. He also said that the future of this country lies in our ability to look at the issue of restructuring and confront it head on.
