The House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation has laid its report on the 2020 Appropriaation Bill, as part the consideration process of the bill.
In the report, 4.48 trillion Naira was set aside for recurrent as against the 4.88 trillion Naira submitted, 2.72 trillion Naira for debt servicing as against the 2.46 trillion Nairs submitted, while 2.47 trillion Naira for Capital as against 2.14 trillion in the proposed budget.
The lawmakers are expected to pass the bill before going for Christmas and New Year break, next week.
Meanwhile, the House has constituted a six man committee on the finance bill 2019.
The committee is to liaise with its Senate counterpart to harmonize the bill passed by the two Chambers.
