Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has officially released the list of players who will prosecute Nigeria next international games against Seychelles in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers and the friendly against Egypt.
As first reported by this portal, Nigeria U20 defender who plays for Enyimba Valentine Ozornwafor was handed a maiden call up same as FC Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu who was also reported as part of the squad by this portal earlier today.
There was however no spot for Leicester City out of form striker Kelechi Iheanacho and also captain John Obi Mikel who is back in active football with English Championship side Middlesbrough, where he has earned positive reviews for his performance.
Also missing was Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal who appears to have dropped to the U23s even though his former U17 strike partner Victor Osimhen is part of the squad.
