Mohamed Salah scores in World Cup 2018 Group A finale
The Liverpool star has given the Pharaohs the lead and also missed another glorious chance from a one-on-one
It hasn’t been the tournament Mo Salah would have hoped for but he’ll be looking to sign off in style today.
Egypt are heading home early after back-to-back Group A defeats by Uruguay and Russia.
The Liverpool ace sat out the opening game but then scored a penalty past the hosts.
Sadly, his World Cup journey is over already – He’s ensured Egypt leave with some pride, it would seem, gifting the Pharaohs the lead with a lovely finish.
Though he should have made it two, wasting a one on one, but he’s been the clear standout star of an otherwise poor quality game.
