The Senate President, Doctor Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has appealed to the people of kwara state to come out en-mass and participate in this Saturday’s governorship and state houses of assembly elections.

He particularly urged the people of the state not to be angry, but examine the leading contenders in the polls for the governorship position critically especially based on their experiences.

Doctor Saraki, while speaking with journalists on Monday at his Broadway residence, Ilorin, said he is committed to the growth and development of Ilorin Emirates and Kwara state at large.

He said despite the outcome of the Presidential and National Assembly elections, his love for the people of Kwara state remained sacrosanct, saying that the state and Ilorin Emirates would remain after elections.

Doctor Saraki noted that he is around because he doesn’t believe in rascality and politics of do or die affairs, pointing out that he would never leave the state despite the outcome of the first leg of the polls.
