Sokoto Governor swears-in four Permanent Secretaries

The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has sworn in four Permannent Secretaries and urged them to see the appointment as an avenue for them to contribute their own quota towards the development of sokoto State.

Governor Tambuwal made the call in at the inauguration of the Permanent Secretaries at the council chamber Government House sokoto.

He also urged the new appointees to come on board with the resolution and spirit to make a positive difference in their respective ministries.

He congratulated them and wished them well as they take up their new responsibilities.

The Governor enjoined the new appointees to justify the confidence reposed on them by the state government.

“I urge you to follow the rules of your various offices,”  Governor Tambuwal said.

Speaking on behalf of other appointees, Former Senior Special Assistant Media and Public Affairs, Abdullahi Sarkin Danko, thanked the Governor for the appointment and promised to deliver their duties diligently.

Mr Danko assured the Governor that they would do everything possible to ensure more development in the State.

The four newly sworn in Permanent Secretaries include  Former SSA Media and Public affairs to the Governor Abdullahi Sarkin Danko, Hussaini S. Gobir, Alhaji Bandado Shehu Bandi and Hajiya Amina Muhammad Jekada.

The cerenomy was attended by Deputy Governor Manir Muhammad Dan iya, Secretary to the State Government, Saidu Umar, Speaker Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Manya Achida and some government functionaries among others.
