South-east political leaders have resolved to meet the NIgerian President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
Addressing journalists at the end of their emergency meeting in Enugu on Monday, the Chairman of the South-east Governor’s Forum, David Umahi said that details of the meeting which is expected to hold on Thursday, will be revealed when they return.
“We have resolved that we are going to meet Mr President for the welfare of our people in the south-east. When we come back we will give you the content of our meeting with the president,” Mr Umahi who is the Governor of Ebonyi State stated.
Other governors who were present at the meeting include; Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State. Others leaders include Senator Victor Umeh, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo and Senator Jim Nwobodo amongst others.
