Speaker calls for unity, peace in Nigeria

The Speaker of House of Representative Hon Femi Gbajabiamila urged Nigeria’s to pray for unity and progress of the country.

The call was made in an interactive session with journalist in Saudi Arabia saying all countries of the world have issues they are confronted with.

And therefore prayed Allah to answer prayers of pilgrims for peace, economic prosperity and overcoming of security and other challenges.

He further said that no country can survive without prayers as through it Allah help resolve problems calling on people of all faith to obey teachings of the holy books as they contain morals on all facets of life.

The speaker also urged Nigerian Muslims to rededicate themselves to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)

It is my strong belief that if the love and peace displayed by the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) to mankind and the community are replicated by every one of us, the greatness Nigeria desires is assured”. Speaker said

I also urge our entire Muslim community and our pilgrims, who are preparing to return home, having completed the Hajj, to pray for the unity and prosperity of Nigeria”.

“with all modesty and the knowledge that pilgrimage is meant for, love, peace and blessings would forever be in Nigeria among Nigerians.

“It is my prayer that we shall all leave in peace and harmony as a Nation”. He added.
