The National Hajj Commission on Friday has confirmed the death of three chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Zamfara state in an auto crash in Saudi Arabia.
The trio were involved in a ghastly traffic accident on their way from Makkah to Madina.
Those involved includes Alhaji Mudi Mallamawa of Shinkafi local government, Alhaji Jfarau Gidan Sambo of Kaura Namoda local government and Alhaji Abdullahi Shugaba Ruwan Dorowa of Maru local government.
Their remains are with Saudi Authorities for funeral arrangements after all the necessary documentation.
The survivors include Alhaji Anka of Anka local government, Alhaji Garba Ziti of Gummi of Gummi local government.
The Zamfara state government officials in Saudi Arabia have moved into action to receive their bodies for the formalisation of burial.
The accident occurred about 120 kilometres from Madina.
This brings to ten, total number of Nigerian fatalities in Saudi Arabia for the year 2018.
