Turkish navy orders Israeli ship out as tension continues

The Turkish navy has intercepted an Israeli ship in Cypriot waters and escorted it away as tension over natural resource exploration continues to rise in the region.

The ship Bat Galim of the Israeli Oceanographic and Limnological Research Institution was conducting research in Cyprus’ territorial waters in coordination with Cypriot officials, Israeli media reported on Saturday quoting the Israeli National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Ministry.
