Still stung by the loss to Croatia, Super Eagles winger Victor Moses has vowed that the Nigerian team is no “ready to fight” to restore their pride at the FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles put up a tepid performance in their 0-2 loss to Croatia.
Many Nigerian fans were particularly angry with Victor Moses who was a complete disappointment.
But speaking via his twitter handle, the Chelsea wing-back drew the battle line.
“Disappointed with the result last night but we win together and lose together and will dust ourselves down and be ready to fight again. We are working hard to put things right,” he said.
Nigeria must now beat Iceland on Friday in Volgograd, to stand any chance of qualifying for the knock-out stage.
