The Board, Management and Staff of Voice of Nigeria have commiserated with the Executive and the entire members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE, the Kano State Government and the Board and Management of the State’s Radio Corporation on the death of the Guild’s Deputy President, Mr Umar Tudunwada.
Before his demise, Mr Tudunwada was elected the Deputy President (North) of the NGE May, 2019.
Aged 59, Mr Tudunwada died in an auto crash outside Kano city on Sunday.
He was returning to the city from an engagement in Abuja when the crash happened around Kura town, about 25 kilometres from Kano State.
In a letter, the Director General of VON, Mr Osita Okechukwu expressed his deepest sympathy to the family.
