Voting has started in parts of Calabar Municipality where the INEC officials set up the stations as early as 7:30am.
At Ward 5, the polling units and voting points located within A.M.E. Zion primary school, the Presiding officer got all 26 agents of the participating political parties to sign the sheets.
One of the 193 RAC camps visited revealed that materials and officers left as early as 7 o’clock in the morning for their stations.
Voters were seen already on queues waiting to be accredited and vote accordingly.
Despite the restriction of movement from 6am by the police, residents still ventured out of their homes and stayed on way after voting started.
