Electorates across Kaduna State have come out to exercise their franchise for the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.
Our Correspondent reports that, unlike the Presidential elections, voting commenced early but with a low turnout.
In an interview with one of the electorates, Sani Mansur, he attributed the low turn out to the previous polls. “I think people are taking their time due to the experience they had at the last polls when the voting started late and they had to queue for a long time”.
The incumbent Governor, Nasiru El-Rufai is already on the queue at his polling unit in Unguwan Sarki waiting to cast his vote.
Voice of Nigeria reports that, the atmosphere for the elections is generally peaceful as electorates are waiting patiently to cast their votes.
