Voting commenced in sanke polling unit in Doma local government area of Nasarawa State commence at 8 am.
However as the APC Deputy gubernatorial candidate, Emmanuel Akade arrived the polling unit to cast his vote, there was sharp disagreement between different parties, however, security personnel arrived the venue to calm down the situation and creating room for voters including Dr Akade cast their votes.
Doma local government area is the home town of both the APC and PDP deputy gubernatorial candidates.
Both candidates were seen going round the entire polling unit to mobilise people to come out and vote.
The PDP deputy gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Muhammad Ogoshi Olawo also cast his vote in the same area before going round other polling unit to encourage voters.
Doma local government area is the home of former governor of the state, late Aliyu Akwe Doma, also seen as PDP strong area.
