The Sokoto State Water Board has established four Customer Care Centres to address customers’ complaints and ensure availability of potable water for residents in the state capital and environs.
Mr. Hasan Altine, the Board’s Public Relations Officer who gave the information said that each of the centres has a dedicated phone line expected to receive complaints and others from consumers.
He said that officers that would manage the centres have undergone orientation conducted by the board’s General Manager, Mr. Ahmad Moyi.
The general manager said the centres were established to cement the cordial relationship between water consumers and the state water board.
The spokesman said a refresher course would soon be organised for employees at the centres to get the required results for the board.
