Youths council applauds sports minister’s appointment

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN has described the appointment of the New Minister for Youth and Sport Development Mr. Sunday Dare as a great chance to enable Nigerian youths to fully participate in the successes of the Next level agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The NYCN National President, Mr Bello Shagari made the assertion in a press statement issued to Journalists in Sokoto State North West Nigeria.

Mr Shagari said the appointment of Mr. Sunday Dare came without anticipation, but with full satisfaction, because he is fully equipped and experienced to do the job successfully.

“On behalf of the leadership of the NYCN, I wish to congratulate the new Minister and thank President Muhammad Buhari for appointing some one who can deliver for youth.

“Moreover, we expect that the new Minister will  peacefully resolve the problems surrounding the Youth in the country.

 “This especially the NYCN fictionalization and save it from over aged men and political hijackers who have continued to invest in the disunity of the Nigerian Youth for years,” the President said.

He further restated that the objective of Nigerian youth have always been in line with the policies of President Buhari.

“Which is to fight corruption and help in providing jobs and opportunities for youth to reduce the unemployment rate  and poverty in the country.

The youths identified an area where they hope to work together in the coming years and that with the new Minister, the sky will be the limited.
